Minneapolis

Kyle recently had the opportunity to go to Minneapolis for a job interview with Target’s headquarters. Though the trip was to be interviewed, he said it seemed like they were more trying to advertize the company and the city rather than Kyle advertizing himself for the job. Kyle did report, however, that the interviews went extremely well, and for everyone that flew out, there was also a job for them. That seems like pretty good odds to me.

While he was there, he spent some time touring the city and learning about everything it has to offer. To name a few, the city has more theater seats, per capita, than any other city in the nation, except New York City. Minneapolis is the home of hundreds of miles of bike and running paths, as well as miles and miles of sky ways which are used to walk indoors from building to building. The city is home to over 70 performing groups, and has more Broadway tours coming through than any city. It also has many museums, sports teams, and lakes (that may be the understatement of the year – it is the state of ten thousand lakes). Over all, it seems like an exciting place to live with plenty of opportunities for me to get a job in dance, either performing or teaching.

We may or may not have an announcement to make in the next little while. Stay tuned.
