Last weekend, the members of CDT loaded into a charter bus and traveled up to the small town of Arimo, Idaho. If you haven’t heard of it, that’s ok, we hadn’t either. We had been asked to do a show for their performing arts program that they have for the community.
Though the audience was small (though considerably large considering the size of the town) we were happy to perform for such receptive people. Everyone in the audience seemed to enjoy the show and we had a blast performing for them. There were a couple of mishaps, and we were so exhausted by the end of the day, but it was worth it.
The whole experience was made better by having the amazing tech crew come with us! Of course, that meant that Kyle got to tag along. He takes his tech crew job seriously and keeps us all organized. Not to mention it is great to see him watching from the wings while performing. He’s a great motivator when you are exhausted.
Many thanks to my parents and Kenzli who came to watch the show. I loved having you there and really appreciate the support. You made the long day, late night, and exhausting dancing well worth it.
