The morning after Christmas, Kyle, Nate, Dellas, and I took off for a morning of snowshoeing at Bogus Basin. It was the perfect day for our adventure; relatively warm with clear skies. The trail took us down and around a ridge of the basin, with an overlook of Boise. There wasn’t as much snow as we would have liked, but plenty for our use.
Kyle and I absolutely love being outside, and especially in the mountains. So, being able to escape our huddle indoors (like we are used to in Minnesota), was a treat! There is not much else to say about the morning, except that afterwards, Kyle and I kept commenting that we should get ourselves some snowshoes. And thanks to my parents, we got some. We expect many other snowshoeing adventures this winter, and the winters to come.
