Just a couple weeks after we had gone to Gopher Stadium for the Imagine Dragons concert, we found ourselves there with friends watching a Vikings game. Currently, Minnesota’s professional football team is building a new stadium where their other one was recently torn down, leaving them homeless. Considering that the Vikings are now playing at the University of Minnesota’s football stadium, and are used to a much bigger crowd of people coming with their season tickets, the Gophers did a great job at trying to keep everyone happy. Including putting up extra bleachers just so they could pack in more spectators and great traffic control, mostly through the train system. We especially loved having a game on a Thursday, rather than the usual Sunday time. Go Vikes! Thanks for a good game!
