Work, Work, Work

During the months of January, February, and March I found myself involved with several big projects at work and within my church community. During those months, I was teaching every day but Sunday, managing my studio principal duties, helping with the annual Tales and Tails of Folks and Fairies performance, auditioning dancers for performing companies, teaching social dance for church members, and choreographing dance numbers for the Minneapolis Stake youth musical, Journey with Joseph. Not to mention growing a human.

I’m not sure how it worked out that my second trimester, and most energetic time of my pregnancy was coincidentally timed with the most exhausting part of my work year. But, thank goodness it was because I feel like that allowed me to take full advantage of the last months that I had to really delve into the world of being a dance educator, without the distraction of a little one. It was extremely exhausting, but such a wonderful experience for me.
