I know I write about girls weekend every year, but that is because it is a highlight for me. I love being able to spend time with women that I admire and look up to. Not to mention, it’s so much fun! This year, I brought my little sidekick and she was the hit of the party.
Among the usual traditions of the weekend, we stopped into Yellowstone for a hike to Shoshone Lake. Rosalie was once again hauled around in her carrier, enjoying the view. And what a view it was. She didn’t cry through the hike, and even got in a nap. After the hike, we stopped to watch Old Faithful erupt and enjoyed some animal and people watching.
The other days we were stuck inside because of rain, but we made the most of it. We saw a play at the Playmill, shopped and ate in West Yellowstone, did yoga, watched lots of movies, and shopped at the antique fair down the road. All good things, but Sunday is my favorite day at girls weekend. We went to church, and then while still being dressed up took some shots of the group. New to this year, we had a badminton tournament that was pretty hilarious as most of us have no idea how to properly play badminton. That didn’t stop us from working up an appetite for our favorite tradition… fondue.
